Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Neko Sensei (the "Service"), operated by Crunchy Granola LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications to these terms.

Description of Service

Neko Sensei is a Japanese language learning application that helps users learn Japanese through reading manga. The Service provides features including manga reading with built-in furigana, vocabulary tracking, learning progress monitoring, and a Manga Creator Program for content contributors. The Service is available at nekosensei.com and through our applications. The Service is currently free to use.

User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your information if it changes
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

User Content and Manga Creator Program

Neko Sensei offers a Manga Creator Program that allows users to submit original manga content to the platform. By submitting content through the Creator Program, you:

• Represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit
• Grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the Service for the purpose of providing the learning experience
• Acknowledge that your content may be annotated with furigana, translations, and other learning aids
• Retain ownership of your original content
• Agree not to submit content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or is otherwise objectionable at our sole discretion.

Intellectual Property

The Neko Sensei application, including its design, features, code, and original content, is owned by Crunchy Granola LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent. All manga content provided through the Service is either owned by us, licensed to us, or submitted through the Creator Program and remains the property of the respective creators.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our permission
• Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code
• Reproduce, redistribute, or publicly display manga content from the Service without authorization
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE MAKE NO GUARANTEES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY LEARNING CONTENT, TRANSLATIONS, OR FURIGANA PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRUNCHY GRANOLA LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US, IF ANY, DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We will notify you of material changes through the application or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
